How giga works

giga is a token launchpad on GIWA Sepolia. Every token gets the same terms, set by the contract and identical for everyone.

  1. 1

You fill in a name, ticker and image

The image and description are pinned to IPFS. Their address goes into the launch transaction itself, so nobody else can change your token's artwork later.

  2. 2

    One transaction does the rest

The launchpad deploys a fixed-supply ERC-20 (1,000,000,000 tokens), creates its Uniswap v3 pool against ETH, and puts the entire supply into it as a single-sided position starting at a 1.5 ETH market cap. If any step fails, none of it happens.

  3. 3

The position is locked in a vault

The liquidity position (an NFT) goes straight into a vault contract that has no function to withdraw it. Not a timelock, not an admin key: the code to remove liquidity does not exist.

  4. 4

    People trade, and fees accrue

Every trade pays a 1% fee into the position. Anyone can press "collect" on the token page, which pays 50% to the creator and 50% to giga.

Questions

What does it cost to launch?

Only gas. There is no launch fee and you do not need to provide any ETH for liquidity. The pool starts one-sided, holding only your token, and the price rises as people buy.

Do I get any tokens?

No. All of the supply goes into the pool. If you want some, buy them like anyone else, ideally right after launching. What you get instead is half the trading fees, forever.

Why is the starting market cap so low?

1.5 ETH is not a valuation; nothing is sold at that price. It sets where the curve starts and so how far each trade moves the price. A 0.1 ETH buy moves a fresh token about 14%, and a 1 ETH buy about 178%.

Can the creator rug?

They cannot pull liquidity: the vault has no withdraw path, and the token has no mint, owner, pause or blacklist. A creator can still sell tokens they bought, like any holder. A locked pool protects against a liquidity pull. It does not tell you whether the token has any value.

Can the fee recipient change?

The creator can move their own half to a new address, which matters if a key is ever lost. giga's half is fixed in the contract and nobody can redirect it.

Where does the price data come from?

giga indexes its own launchpad and pools directly from the chain. Charts, volume and trades are built from on-chain swap events, not from a third-party API.
